Notes: A new species collected from Yunnan Province is described and illustrated. All type specimens are deposited in the Insect Collections of Department of Forestry Protection, Beijing Forestry University. Rhizoecus tricirculus sp. nov. (Fig. 1) The adult female body elongate-oval, 0.63- 0.69 mm long, 0.31-0.44 mm wide. Antennae 6-segmented, about 0.12 mm long, terminal segment with 2 sickle-like fleshy hairs. Eyes present. Three pairs of legs developed. Two pairs of ostioles. Three circuli truncate-conical, situated within abdominal sternites Il-IV. Anal ring with outer and inner cells and 6 setae. Anal lobes protrudent, with 2 dorsal and 1 ventral setae. Trilocular pores evenly-distributed both surfaces of body. Multilocular disc pores present in abdominal sternites IV-IX. Simple tubular duct absent. Tritubular pores fairly numerous, distributed on all dorsal surface except submedian area of tergite V- VIll. Holotype , Mengla County, Yunnan Province, January of 1993. Paratypes 5 females, Mengla County, Yunnan Province, from January of 1993 to January of 1994. All type specimens are collected with Tullgren funnel method. Remarks. This new species closes to Rh. avenides Takagi & Kawai, 1971, but can be easily distinguished by with 3 circuli and absence of simple tubular duct. Etymology. The species name "tricircu1us" means three circuli .
