Notes: Notes on the efficacy of mating disruption as a means of controlling the grape moth Lobesia botrana in vineyards in Trentino, Italy from 1991 to 2000 are presented. The emergence of new pests such as Argyrotaenia pulchellana [A. ljungiana], Eupoecilia ambiguella, Eulecanium corni [?Parthenolecanium corni] and Pulvinaria vitis as a result of reduced insecticide use in vineyards is briefly discussed.
