Notes: Cerapteroceroides spp. are exclusively hyperparasitic on encyrtids parasitising Homoptera (Coccoidea, Aphididae and Psyllidae). The males of these hyperparasites have not previously been described and the author describes, from examples collected in Japan, the males of C. japonicus Ashm. (reared from Lecanodiaspis quercus Ckll., Phenacoccus pergandei Ckll. and Takahashia japonica (Ckll.)) and C. fortunatus (Ishii) (reared from Dermaphis japonensis Tak. on Quercus glauca).
