Notes: The aphelinid Coccophagus kabulensis sp. n. is described from material collected by the author near Kabul, Afghanistan. The new species parasitizes the coccid Didesmococcus unifasciatus, one of the most serious pests of peach in the Armenian SSR and the Uzbek SSR and of almond in Afghanistan. It attacks the 2nd stage larva and the female of its host species. Introduction of this parasitoid into the USSR is recommended.
