Notes: A scheme of biological control measures developed in the USSR against insect pests of citrus is outlined. They include the use of Serangium parcesetosum and the entomopathogenic fungus Aschersonia sp. against the citrus whitefly (Dialeurodes citri), of Aspidiotiphagus citrinus and Aphytis chrysomphali against the citrus mussel scale (Lepidosaphes beckii), and control of the soft scale (Coccus hesperidum) using Coccophagus lycimnia, Encyrtus lecaniorum and the fungus Cephalosporium sp.
