Notes: [Proceedings of the National Symposium on Advances in Biological Control of Insect Pests, a conference held in October 2-4, 1993.] Nephus sp. was found to be the principal native predator of the pink mealybug, Maconellicoccus hirsutus (Green) (Hemiptera: Pseudococcidae) in the mulberry fields of Berhampore, West Bengal, India. Its life cycle was studied at the lab and discussed in this paper.
