Notes: A new genus of the Encyrtidae, Argutencyrtus, is erected for a new South African species, A. luteolus sp.n., which is described from the adult male and female and which was reared from Chloropulvinaria (Pulvinaria) psidii (Mask.) on Maytenus senegalensis at Pietersburg. The relation of Argutencyrtus with other genera, especially Microterys and Blastothrix, are briefly indicated.
