Notes: Microterys anneckei sp. n. is described from adults of both sexes reared from Saissetia sp., Parasaissetia litorea De Lotto, Pulvinariella (Pulvinaria) mesembryanthemi (Vall.) and Filippia sp. in South Africa in 1968-72. M. ceroplastae sp. n. is described from adults of both sexes reared from Ceroplastes sp. and Gascardia destructor (Newst.) on coffee in Kenya in 1935-36. New records or redescriptions are given for six other species; those that have been mentioned in this Review are M. kenyaensis Comp. M. nicholsoni Comp. and M. bizanensis Comp. and M. flavus (How.). The characters by which this group of species may be distinguished are described, and a key to adult males and females is provided.
