Notes: A study was carried out to determine the effect of different levels of drip irrigation with the traditional flood method on the incidence of the insect pests Chilo infuscatellus, Melanaspis glomerata and Saccharicoccus sacchari attacking sugarcane; results reveal that most population decline to C. infuscatellus and S. sacchari occurred in the treatment with the minimum level of irrigation, but M. glomerata population increased; highest population levels were recorded in the traditional flood method of irrigation.
