Notes: Pulvinaria urbicola Cockerell, 1893, was found for the first time in 1983 on a sandy beach of Togo, overcrowding on the sea-side grape, Coccoloba uvifera (L.) (Polygonaceae), a plant native of the West Indies' sandy-beaches. Some biological features are given for the first time.
