Notes: The main objective of the present work is to perform a field survey and update our knowledge of scale insects species occurrence in three Governorates (Qena, Luxor and Aswan) in southern Egypt during the period from March, 2013 to February, 2015. The obtained results revealed that there are seven armored scale species, six mealybug species, five soft scale species and three giant scales species belonging to fifteen genera related to four families of the super family Coccoidea, were surveyed.
