Notes: Three mealy bug species collected from the southern provinces of Iran during experiments conducted in 1999-2001 are recorded for the first time in the country: Dysmicoccus brevipes on lucerne root; Ferrisia virgata on Albizia sp., Psidium guajava and Myrtus communis; and Planococcoides robustus collected from Prosopis spicigera [Prosopis cineraria ].
