Notes: Crypticerya genistae Hempel (Hemiptera: Monophlebidae) is newly recorded for Cuba. This species was collected at different sites on beaches located in eastern Habana, and in the town of Guanabo. The collected specimens were deposited in the Zoological Collections of the Institute of Ecology and Systematic. The species was observed on 23 plant species belonging to nine families. Sixteen species and two families are new host plant records for this insect.
