Notes: The mealy-bug R. invadens appeared on mango cv. Alphonso in February 1995 at the Indian Institute of Horticultural Research Farm, Bangalore, Karnataka, India. A coccinellid predator C. montrouzieri was cultured and released on mango plants and a 99.44% reduction in the meal-bug population from second week of February to the first week of April was observed. The mealy-bug population showed 102.82% increase in the same period on the control plants.
