Notes: A survey of urban parks and semi-natural habitats in Upper Silesia between 2011-2013 found some rare scale insect species, amongst them Puto superbus, Volvicoccus stipae and Trionymus hamberdi, which were found in new localities. New data on biology of Puto superbus are given.
