Notes: The behaviour of crawlers of the sugarcane coccoids M. glomerata and S. sacchari was studied. Neonate larvae were unaffected by stem surface waxes, but these were required for 'settling'. An increase in day temperature hastened 'settling' by M. glomerata crawlers.
