Notes: Titlein in English: [Contribution to the study of host-parasite interactions: Coccus hesperidum L. (Hom. Coccidae) and its parasite Coccophagus scutellaris Dalman (Hym. Aphelinidae): Experimental study of the laying behavior of the parasite.] For Coccophagus scutellaris the search capacity is reduced to the fortuitous meetings of the female with its host during its continual movements. The antennae recognizes the host as well as the most favorable site to introduce its ovipositor. The location of the fertilized eggs is related to the size of the coccid; alimentary canal for the young ones, in the hemocel for the old ones and in either for intermediate individuals. Furthermore, the mated female can lay its eggs in the coccid and/or in the larvae of its own species.
