Notes: Trials were conducted to evaluate the efficacy of imidacloprid 17.8% SL (Confidor 200 SL), a systemic insecticide, at different concentrations against green scale (Coccus viridis) and brown scale (Saissetia coffeae) insects infesting 2-year old arabica coffee (Coffea arabica cv. S.795) seedlings raised in nursery bags. Application rates of 0.0075, 0.01, 0.02, 0.05, 0.08 and 0.1% a.i. on Coccus viridis and 0.01, 0.05 and 0.1% a.i. on S. coffeae were found to be equally effective even at 30 days after application.
