Notes: Field-plot tests were carried out in Egypt during 1967-68 to evaluate insecticide sprays for the control of Kilifia (Lecanium) acuminata (Sign.) on mango trees. In general, a single application in May (after blooming) was more effective than one in either October or March. Mixtures of 2% Triona oil with either 0.15% malathion or dimethoate gave the best control; however, 2% parathion (Folidol) and dimethoate alone were also effective.
