Notes: Title in English: [A new species of Stictolecanium(Hemiptera: Coccoidea: Coccidae), with description of immature states and a key to the species.] ABSTRACT. A new species of soft scale: Stictolecanium aspidospermum sp. nov. from Argentina is described and illustrated based on the adult female and male and female immature stages. Protopulvinaria convexa Hempel is diagnosed, illustrated and transferred to the genus Stictolecanium Cockerell as S. convexum (Hempel) comb. nov. A taxonomic key for the four species of the genus is included.
