Notes: Detailed descriptions were given of all female and male instars of the new species of mealybug Planococcoides bengalensis on Ficus bengalensis, and a key to their identifications was provided. The mode of reproduction of the species is sexual and ovoviviparous. Its female and male nymphs moulted three and four times, respectively, to complete their development.
