Notes: Diaspidiotus prunorum, Mytilaspis rubri, Parlatoria crypta and Suturaspis archangelskyae recorded for the first time in Afghanistan; Didesmococcus unifasciatus and Parlatoria oleae also recorded; P. oleae and P. crypta are important on apple and peach, D. unifasciatus on almond, D. prunorum on apricot and sweet cherry, S. archangelskyae on pear, and Mytilaspis rubri on Elaegnus angustifolia.
