Borad, P.K., & Bhalani, P.A. 1997c Bioefficacy of various insecticides against Coccidohystrix insolita (Green) on pigeonpea. . Gujarat Agricultural University, Research Journal. India 22(2): 78-87.
Notes: Laboratory (1990-91) and field (1991-93) tests in Gujarat with pigeon peas were carried out on the effectiveness of 18 insecticides against Coccidohystrix insolita. Quinalphos (0.05%) and methyl parathion [parathion-methyl] (0.05%); dichlorvos (0.04%), triazophos (0.04%) and monocrotophos (0.04%) and Neemark (Azadirachta indica based, 0.5%) were highly effective against third nymphal instars of C. insolita under laboratory conditions, whereas quinalphos, triazophos and monocrotophos were most effective and gave above 98% pest mortality within 10 days of application under field condition.
