Borad, P.K., & Bhalani, P.A. 1996 Population dynamics of Coccidohystrix insolita (Green) on pigeonpea.. Gujarat Agricultural University, Research Journal. India 21(2): 41-49.
Notes: Studies on population dynamics of Coccidohystrix insolita infesting pigeon peas were made during 1991-93 in Gujarat. The population density peaked weeks 35-38 (September) and 47-49 (December). Relative humidity, rainy days, rainfall and entomogenous fungi were negatively correlated with the population build up. The temperature (27 to 28°C) and relative humidity (85 to 95%) were found to be favourable for pest multiplication. Among biotic factors, entomogenous fungi parasitized 17-42% and 16-75% of the pest population in 1991-92 and 1992-93, respectively.
