Notes: A new genus of soft scale insects (Homoptera: Coccoidea: Coccidae), Tillanococcus, and two new species T. mexicanus and T. tillandsiae are described and illustrated from the adult females. The new species are recorded from Tillandsia plants in Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico.
