Notes: Prococcophagus varus, the type-species, and three new species of Prococcophagus are described from South Africa. The new species are P. saissetiae parasitic in Saissetia sp. near oleae, P. probus from S. oleae; and P. neserorum from Pulvinariella mesembryanthemi. The male of P. varius is recorded and briefly described, and the original description of the female is amplified and corrected.
