Remarks
- Systematics: The new combination by Matile-Ferrero & Ben-Dov (1995) was based on characters of the species as given in Goux (1941a). Danzig & Gavrilov-Zimin (2015) stated that they had studied the holotype of Ripersia cribrata and discovered that it is a junior synonym of Mirococcopsis subterranea whereas they considered Ripersia cribrata subsp. massiliensis as a separate species of Trionymus.
- Structure: Female body broadly oval, slightly enlarged posteriorly, about 1.5 mm long. Antennae 7-segmented. Legs normally developed; hind coxae slightly enlarged, with translucent pores. Anal apparatus complete. Both pairs of ostioles present. Circuli absent. Multilocular pores forming transverse rows on five posterior abdominal sternites. Trilocular pores evenly scattered on the entire body surface. (Danzig & Gavrilov-Zimin, 2015)
- General Remarks: Good description of the adult female given by Goux (1941a).
