Systematics: Sangicoccus morrisoni is similar to S. truncatispinus but differs in possessing a submarginal band of macrotubular ducts on the venter of the abdomen and by the absence of a submarginal band os modified microtubular ducts on the abdomen. (Kozár, et al., 2009)
Structure: Body of slide mounted specimens broadly oval, 1.50 (1.30-1.55) mm long, 1.25 (0.96-1.30) mm wide. Antennae 3 segmented; each segment with only a few short setae; second segment with sensory pore; segment III with apical setae and with 4 clavate sensory setae. Frontal lobes present, large.
