Remarks
- Systematics: Only a part of the Rhizoecus nemoralis specimens observed by Jansen & Westenberg, 2015 have tubular ducts, so they suggested that it is possible that Rh. nemoralis and Rh. dianthi represent the same species.
- Biology: Occurring on the roots of the host plant.
- General Remarks: Description and illustration of adult female by Ferris (1953a), Hambleton (1976), Williams & Granara de Willink (1992) and by Kozár & Konczné Benedicty (2007).
