Remarks
- Systematics: P. sorghicola is a species with a well-defined submarginal zone of tubular ducts and shares with P. a disparity in size of the claw digitules. Although about the same length, one digitule is always much thinner than the other. Most of the dorsal setae are lanceolate, and in this character it differs from P. tenuivalvata, a species with most of the dorsal setae conical. (Williams, 1982a)
- Structure: This species does not form a true ovisac, but a thin layer of white cottony wax is secreted under the body along the margins.
- General Remarks: Detailed description in DeLotto, 1979a.
