Keys
Remarks
- Systematics: This species can be distinguished from all other known species of Pulvinaria from the Ethiopian region by the presence of multilocular disc pores in the cephalic region. I is close to P. uapacae, but this species lacks the cephali multilocular disc pores, and differs in the dimensions of the legs and antennae. (Hodgson, 1968)
- Structure: Slide mounted adult female 4 mm long and 2.5 mm. wide, and oval in shape. Dorsum membranous at maturity, with numerous scattered blunt pointed dorsal spines, and small pores. Para-opercular pores numerous in a fairly broad band along the center of the dorsu to just anterior to the mouth. (Hodgson, 1968)
- General Remarks: Description and illustration of adult female given by Hodgson (1968).
