Remarks
- Systematics: This species is close to P. marrubii and P. martinezi but differs from both in the smaller size of conical setae and medial dorsal cerarii. All females of the type series have a circulus; but females collected in Morocco were without a circulus. (Danzig & Gavrilov-Zimin, 2014)
- Biology: Infesting the subterranean parts of its host.
- General Remarks: Good description and illustration of the adult female given by Balachowsky (1953j).
