Remarks
- Systematics: P. daedalea differs from all other species of the genus in possessing dorsal groups of 8-shaped pores, each group with one or two large 8-shaped pores in the center. (Gavrilov, 2013)
- Structure: Adult female. Body broadly oval, sharply narrowed posteriorly, about 1.5 mm long and 1 mm wide. Antennae small, one segmented. Eyes and legs absent. Specific 8-shaped pores of three sizes. Smallest pores (each about 12 µm long) forming a marginal row in parallel with minute quinquelocular pores. Medium-sized pores (each about 15-16 µm long) and largest pores (each about 20 µm long) forming eight pairs of dorsal groups, each group containing one to two of the largest pores, surrounded by six to eight medium-sized pores. Simple discoid pores scattered on both surfaces of the body. (Gavrilov, 2013)
