Remarks
- Systematics: Subfamily: Pseudococcinae (Choi & Lee, 2022)
In the description of the genus, Paratrionymus, Borchsenius erroneously noted the presence of 3-locular pores and 3 pairs of cerarii in adult females. These mistakes may have provoked Matesova to describe a new genus, Metadenopsis. Danzig & Gavrilov-Zimin (2015) compared the type material of the two genera and ascertained that the species are identical except for the presence of a few tubular ducts in M halogetonis and none in Ripersia halocharis. (Danzig & Gavrilov-Zimin, 2015)
- General Remarks: Good definition and characters of the adult female given by Borchsenius (1948c, 1949) and by Tang (1992).
