Remarks

• Systematics: Adult female P. geometricum are somewhat similar to those of P. hainanense, P. machili, P. marginatum and P. morobeense, all of which have rather small dorsal pores. The data given for P. geometricum and P. limbatum are almost identical; indeed, there is a slide identified previously (by Green?) as P. geometricum that had been collected off Ixora sp., the host of P. limbatum. Therefore, Hodgson & Williams, 2018l made P limbatum a junior synonym of P. geometricum. (Hodgson & Williams, 2018)
• Structure: Unmounted material. Of P. geometricum: ‘Pale castaneous, or fulvous. Flattish, sub-round, median dorsal area with concentric series of polygonal depressed spaces.’ (Green 1896, p. 9 in Hodgson & Williams, 2018). Slide-mounted adult female. Body broadly oval. Length 3.1–3.4 [2.9] mm, width 2.1–2.6 [2.2] mm. (Hodgson & Williams, 2018)
