Both are labeled as "Spagna, Algeciras, F. Silvestri 3.1.23" Illustr.
- Nipponorthezia hispanica (Silvestri, 1924); Morrison 1925: 154. change of combination (discovered by Kozar2004, 251). Notes: Morrison incorrectly synonymized the genus Orthezinella with Nipponorthzia and the combination was corrected to Orthezinella hispanica when Kozar, 2004 determined that the genus Orthezinella was valid.

Remarks
- Systematics: Morrison (1952) obtained a specimen from Mt. Vernon, Virginia that almost exactly matches Silvestri's description and figures, and he states that this may prove to be identical to his Nearctic species Nipponorthezia obscura.
