Remarks
- Systematics: Nipponpulvinaria resembles Acanthopulvinaria Borchsenius and Mesembryna DeLotto in the distribution of the large ventral tubular ducts. However, it differs from them in having a complete submarginal ring of large ventral tubular ducts and in lacking a tibio-tarsal articulatory sclerosis on the leg.
- Structure: Body nearly round, broadest in abdomen. Ovisac produced from venter of abdomen, and body slightly lifted by ovisac. No wax on dorsum at oviposition.
