Remarks
- Systematics: Danzig (1998) transferred this species to Balanococcus in view of the presence of normally deve1oped C18 and trilocular pores on the ostiole lips, near spiracles and in cerarii. Danzig & Gavrilov-Zimin (2015) reevaluated this placement in light of the grouping of trilocular pores nera the midline of the body which they considered to be an important and unique character in agreement with Williams (2004)
- General Remarks: Good description and illustration of the adult female given by Koteja (1988a) and by Danzig (1998a).
