Remarks
- Structure: Orthezioid alate male with compound eyes; nodulose antennal joints and antennal setae arranged in whorls; with bifurcate setae on legs, undifferentiated tarsal digitules, a pair of acute ungual digitules; acute wings narrow at base, reduced cubital ridge and flexing membranes, oblique secondary folds arising from the subcostal ridge, hypodermal pterostigma at subcostal ridge, ventrally; with a tuft of glassy, waxy rods on posterior end of abdomen, dorsally, but no lateral fleshy tassels; penial sheath conspiculous, tubular (Koteja, 2000).
