Remarks
- Systematics: This species is similar to H. pavlovskii, but differs in having undeveloped cephalothoracic cerarii and in small or lacking circulus. Danzig & Gavrilov-Zimin determined that although Kosztarab & Kozár (1988) listed the subspecies austriacus under the species name, there were no notes on synonymization. They also concluded that the presence of dorsal 5-locular pores is very rare and known only in two other species of Heliococcus.
- General Remarks: Detailed description in Balachowsky 1953h.
