Remarks
- Systematics: Ferris (1920) stated that this is 'a form which occurs quite commonly on Quercus agrifolia and on Aesculus californicus. It differs from typical Lecanium corniL. corni.' Based on these observations, this name would be better placed under Parthenolecanium, and considering the great variability in color pattern and size observed in P corni (Gill 1988), it is possibly a synonym of that species.
