Nomenclatural History

• Dysmicoccus henanensis Wu 1999a: 22. Type data: CHINA: Henan Province, Baotianman Nature Reserve, on Compositae.. Holotype, female, by original designation Type depository: Tianjin: Department of Biology, Nankai University, Tianjin, China; accepted valid name Notes: Paratypes: 8 adult females and 9 3rd instar female nymphs. Same data as holotype.

Remarks

• Systematics: The new species is similar to Dysmicoccus multivorus especially in the tubular ducts, but differs in (1) multilocular pores present in the venter of the prosoma, (2) cerarius with a long sprine except C6 and C18, and (3) quite long hairs along the margin of the abdomen. (Wu, 1999a)
