Coronaproctus Li, Xu &Wu 2023: 434. Type species: Coronaproctus castanopsis Li, Xu &Wu by monotypy and original designation . accepted valid name

Systematics: Among the genera belonging to the tribes Monophlebini sensu Morrison, Monophlebini sensu Gavrilov-Zimin and Labioproctini, there are six that have numerous spines on the dorsum and a marsupiu on the abdominal venter, like the new genus: Gompholopium Gavrilov-Zimin, Hemaspidoproctus Morrison, Labioproctus Green, Misracoccus Rao, Pseudaspidoproctus Morrison (Morrison 1928; Gavrilov-Zimin 2018, 2021), and Aspidoproctus Newstead, which has a half-marsupium.
