- Systematics: http:// zoobank.org/NomenclaturalActs/3BF2E34B-62E7-4431-A767-0FC00154A369 Coccidella hexapora is similar to C. ecuadoriana, C. multipora, and C. poensis in having multilocular disc pores present on both the dorsum and venter, but differs from all three species in having hexalocular pores on both the dorsum and venter and enlarged trilocular pores between mesocoxae. - Structure: Coccidella hexapora Kaydan & Konczné Benedicty can be recognized by the combination of the following features: (i) body elongate oval; (ii) antennae 6 segmented; (iii) legs well developed, hind legs with 2 large translucent pores present on tibia; (iv) claw digitules spine-like; (v) multilocular disc pores present on both dorsum and venter, as bands across abdominal segments, but scattered on the thorax and head; (vi) hexalocular pores each 5–6 μm in diameter, scattered over the entire body; and (vii) enlarged trilocular pores in a group of 85 pores in the middle of abdominal segments III, with 18 pores medially in segment II and with a group of 56 pores between mesocoxae.
