Biology: Ceroplastes centroroseus has one generation per year on Pinus yunnanensis in Panzhihua, Sichuan Province, where it overwinters as mated adult females and reproduces bisexually. Both immature and imago stages live on coniferous leaves (Tang et al. 1998).
