Remarks
- Structure: Body of young adult female covered with white cottony wax and with a broad marginal fringe of cottony wax. Older specimens large, 4.2–10.0 mm long, covered with a powdery white wax or devoid of wax. Insect body after removal of wax, yellow green to greenish brown in younger specimens, older specimens becoming dark brown. Not producing an ovisac. Slide-mounted adult female body oval to elongate oval, 4.2–10.0 mm long, 3.8–8.2 mm wide, anal cleft about 1/4 of body length. Dorsal derm membranous, becoming sclerotized in old specimens. Eyespots not detected. Dorsum with setae sharply spinose, straight or slightly bent, abundant on mid-dorsum anterior to anal plates, scattered elsewhere. (Kondo, 2022e)
