Remarks
- Systematics: This species is similar to T. phragmites, but differs from the latter in having one size of tubular duct, 3-5 circulii and the absence of multilocular pores on the dorsum of the prosoma. (Wu1999a)
- Structure: Adult female body elongate oval, up to 7 mm long. Antennae 7-segmented. Legs small; hind coxae and adjacent metathorax cuticle with numerous microtubular ducts. Anal apparatus complete. Two pairs of ostioles present. 3 circuli, small, oval. Multilocular pores forming wide band along margin of ventral surface, occasionally present along dorsal margin and forming transverse bands on 3 posterior abdominal sternites.
