Remarks
- Systematics: Danzig & Gavrilov-Zimin (2015) stated that females from Russia differ from the types in several important characters (tubular ducts of two sizes, thicker conical setae of cerarii, C17 always with 2 (not 1) conical seta, ciruli from 1 t0 3 in number and probably represent a separate species pending a revision of Balanooccus.
