Remarks
- Systematics: This species is closely related to A. crawi as defined by Williams & Miller (2002).. A. vietnamensis differs from A. crawi in possessing 2 types of multilocular disc pores, those around the margins being larger, of a wagon-wheel type and those in the medial areas being smaller, with smaller and normal loculi. In A. crawi, all the multilocular disc pores are of one size. Apart from 1 or 2 disc-like pores occurring on the metathorax and abdominal segment IV, in A. vietnamensis these pores are restricted to clusters on the metathorax and posteriorly at least to abdominal segment IV also. The disc-like pore clusters in A. vietnamensis are completely separate from the medial and lateral mutilocula disc pores, whereas in A. crawi, the lateral multilocular disc pores extend to the disc-like pore clusters and merge with them. (Williams, 2004a)
