Remarks
- Systematics: Danzig and Gavrilov-Zimin (2015) considered Allotrionymus Takahashi, 1958 to be a junior synonym of Atrococcus. Examination of phylogenies using molecular and morphological characters (Hardy et al. 2008 & Kaydan et al. 2015) or molecular characters alone (Downie & Gullan 2004) do not agree with the above hypotheses, so we have kept A. elongatus in the genus Allotrionymus.
- Structure: Adult female antennae 7-8 segmented. Hind coxae and tibiae with translucent pores. Circuli absent. Prothoracic group of wax glands absent, but such graoup may be present on mesothorax in some specimens. Multilocular pores present on 5 posterior abdominal sternites only. (Danzig and Gavrilov-Zimin, 2015)
